How to Install EcoSmart Roller Shades:

Step 1 Choose how to mount brackets

Select the method of mounting that is most suitable for you.
A. Outside Face: mounting to the face of the window or outside the window frame
B. Outside Top: mounting: to an overhead surface such as the top of window frame or the ceiling.
C. Inside: mounting to the inside or between the sides of the window frame.

Step 2 Position brackets to allow free operation
Make sure that the position of the brackets is such that the roller shade can operate without coming into contact with window handles or door handles or any other obstacles

Side Control Bracket Pivot Bracket
The shade is delivered with a Control End Bracket and an Idle End Bracket.
The control end bracket belongs on the same side as the chain.

Step 3 Attach first bracket
Mark the position of the first bracket, drill holes and fix the bracket in place.

Step 4 Attach second bracket level with first
Insert one side of the roller in the mounted bracket. Then place the other bracket on the other end of the shade and mark its position. Make sure that the second bracket is marked so that it is level with the first. Drill the holes and fix the bracket in place.

Step 5 Mount shade

1. Insert the idle end of the shade into the Idle End Bracket. Note the idle end- pin has a spring operation to allow easier mounting and take-down.
2. Insert the control end of shade into the Control Bracket as shown. The shade is secured to the bracket by the clip (it is blue in the picture below, depending on the size of your shade that piece of the control end may be blue, white or black). The clip should point towards the ground.
3. Once the shade is inserted into the bracket, slide the shade until the clip is secured to the bracket. Make sure that when the shade is rolled up fully the ball stop is at the top rear of the shade.

Blinds with Fascias.

Hold the blind to the brackets with the fabric hanging from the back of the blind. Install the spring plunger into its bracket and push the blind into the bracket, depressing the plunger. With the locating hook pointing downwards and the chain guard lug at the bracket, allow the hook to drop downwards so that is locks into place in the bracket.

Installing the Fascia

Feed the fascia into the top locating point of the bracket. Push the fascia forward, towards the wall, until it snaps into place. If you feel the need to secure the fascia further a screw may be drilled into the hole underneath the fascia.
